Digital Marketing Strategist – Job Description

Marketing is tough especially when trying to balance performance, scale and transparency. Viden is a marketing agency focused on delivering measurable results to our clients. This is realized through the development and implementation digital and direct marketing campaigns. We partner with companies across the country to help them define a marketing strategy, prioritize initiatives and deliver interested prospects in the form of phone calls or leads. Because bottom-line performance is the ultimate measure, we place a huge emphasis on analytics and data optimization. From high level strategy on one end and getting our hands dirty in execution on the other end, we help our clients grow their business.

As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will be critical to delivering measurable results for our clients and charged with the responsibility to improve performance through the development and execution of highly-effective digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive account level strategies and initiatives to deliver growth
  • Actively manage and execute effective digital marketing strategies on behalf of our clients, including: SEO, email marketing, paid search, content marketing, blogging, and social media
  • Work with internal and external teams (SEO, PPC and Content Strategists) to ensure client deliverables are executed in accordance with the agreed upon strategic objectives
  • Work hands on with internal leadership to enhance the company’s product offering and the ongoing development of Viden’s value chain
  • Participate and establish yourself as an expert in client presentations
  • Track online brand and product campaigns to measure performance
  • Planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing expenses
  • Provide thought leadership to continuously improve overall inbound marketing strategy

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 2-7 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
  • BA/BS in a related field (Business, Advertising, Marketing or Public Relations preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs before they are communicated
  • Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication skills
  • Proven history of success
  • Experience in analytics tracking and campaign creation within Google Analytics; Knowledge of Google web platform; ability to create and manage AdWords campaigns (not required but is a plus)

Account Executive

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience in a metric-driven environment
  • 1-3 years of sales experience in a metric-driven environment
  • Establish new partnerships with publishers, radio/TV stations and prospective advertisers’
  • Expected to be on the phone regularly and self-motivated in your daily activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be organized and able to multi-task under tight deadlines
  • High energy, extremely professional demeanor and confidence in your abilities
  • An understanding that while core hours are traditionally between 8-5, M-F, the willingness to “get the job done” and work as needed to meet critical deadlines will be expected
  • Loyalty and commitment. Working for an entrepreneurial company does not come without hard work and dedication
  • Must be proficient software such as Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
